During a skin check consult, the skin is examined using a magnifying glass and with a handheld microscope called a dermatoscope. Any suspicious spots are documented, may be photographed, and if necessary, undergo biopsy or excision. Additional treatments, such as cryotherapy and skin scraping, may be recommended as part of our care approach.
At the Bathurst Skin Cancer Clinic, we provide a comprehensive solution for timely skin cancer management. Our specialist skin GPs excel in various techniques, including standard surgical excision, electro-dissication, and curettage.
